ABOUT ME

Passion for Exploring and Educating

From skiing to rock climbing, rafting to sea kayaking, ice climbing to finding a place to warm up my toes; I am always excited about exploring new places and new activities, and meeting new people and helping them achieve their goals.

I grew up in the mid-west, and was raised to love the outdoors and adventures. My father took me camping, canoeing, and skiing and introduced me to adventuring. As a Boy Scout, a love for that adventure grew, along with a passion to share skills and knowledge with the next generation of outdoors people. After spending nine summers working for a Boy Scout camp in Wisconsin, I moved west to pursue a career taking people outside.

My professional guiding career has taken me all over the world, introduced me to hundreds of people, and allowed me to hone my guiding craft on rock, on skis, and in the alpine. I received a bachelor's degree in Adventure Eduction and Wilderness Leadership, and have pursued guide training through the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) and I'm on track to receive my full International certification.
